Swansea Bay Business Club celebrates Christmas at Delta Hotels by Marriott, with special guest speaker, West End performer, Sophie Evans. Sponsored by Westacres Luxury Homes.

On Friday 6th December 2024, Swansea Bay Business Club will meet at Delta Hotels by Marriott, Swansea for our annual Christmas Celebration Lunch. Members and guests will enjoy a delicious three course meal, with the opportunity to network, and enjoy an afternoon of glittering entertainment from West End performer, Sophie Evans.

Sophie came to prominence in 2010 competing in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s search for Dorothy on BBC’s ‘Over the Rainbow’. Sophie has gone on to perform in roles such as Dorothy in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at the London Palladium and Glinda in ‘Wicked’.

She has performed at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway and the Colosseum, Las Vegas with Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance. Appearing in films ‘The Worlds’ End’ alongside Nick Frost and Simon Pegg and ‘Pride’ with Bill Nighy and Dominic West.

Concert work is where Sophie is in her element. Travelling the world visiting places such as Japan, America, Canada and Taiwan perfuming alongside artists such as; Katherine Jenkins, Alfie Boe, Paul Potts, Kerry Ellis and more. Her work has seen her perform on many stages with some of the most renowned orchestras including the BBC national Orchestra and Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

This event will be open to members only initially and will open to non-members should capacity not be reached nearer to the event date. The date the event will open to non-members will be at the discretion of the Board for each event.
